We are finally
in R&D for the long awaited "rear turbo kit" for the 94 - 96 B
body. Fabrication began at Clear Image Automotive in September,
2006. It is based on the "STS" patent. We are an authorized
dealer for them so every kit will be approved and marketed as
such. The first system to be offered will be a twin rear turbo.
It uses our own Clear Image 2 1/2" cross-over system, custom
hangers for the turbo, custom hangers for the oil pump, custom
transmission cross member and custom 3" down-pipes (over-axle)
to our 3" tailpipes.
Once complete we will be able to establish a kit price.
Our TRI-Y header packages (hi-flow converters or cat delete
pipes) will be an option as well as our mirror polished
stainless tips and an intercooler.
Todd wasn't happy with the first exhaust
routing going to the turbo so he decided to change things a
bit.
He ended up with a much more symmetric
set-up.
