We started this project in February 2003,
in cooperation with a Las Vegas business. The project was
put on-hold. Collaboration with a local owner allowed us to
finally get our LS1 F-body headers into production.
The headers are made of 14 gage mild steel tubing. 1 3/4"
primary tubes with 9" long 3" collectors using gasketless
ball/socket flanges. Our off-road Y-pipe uses dual 3"
merging into a single 3" pipe, also with ball/socket
flanges. For the project car, we used 16 gage aluminized
steel, however, 304 stainless steel is available.
