I
started Clear Image in December of 1999. I had purchased my
1995 Black Impala SS in the summer of 95. I started to add
bolt-on performance parts and soon found myself at a stand
still. I was ready to purchase headers and could not
find a decent set. All the shorty headers had foolish
designs and the power increase was not worth the effort.
I could not find any full length headers and decided to
start my own business. I have always worked in the service
oriented industry and applied what I had learned to my
customer service. In the beginning Clear Image was internet
based only. All headers were sub-contracted. In the spring
of 2003 I had the opportunity to share a small shop with
another small business owner, Brian of Get Bent Fabrication.
This allowed all header production to come in-house and our
product line began to expand.
Not
one year later we are moving into a new facility with a
store front and plenty of space to grow. Our equipment and
tool supply continue to expand and our products and services
are growing along with it. Customer service is our key
focus, besides product development. We simply treat our
customers as we expect to be treated when visiting other
establishments as customers ourselves. It's simple and it
works. Almost 100% sales have resulted from "word of mouth"
advertisement. We will continue to focus on service and
research new technologies, products and applications!
To all
our customers: Thank YOU very much for your support!
We would not be here today without YOU!

Dan's
1995 Impala SS
The
hood was custom made of carbon fiber and fiberglass.
The scoops are functional but a proper airbox needs
to be installed. The vents are molded after the Chevy
Z34 vents. They are carbon fiber and molded directly
into the hood. They are completely functional allowing
excessive heat to escape. I do not use covers or block-off
plates in the rain. The Fender vents are molded after
the Buick Grand National GNX vents. The fenders were
cut but the vents are not functional as there was not
an appropriate, or cost effective way to do it. The
rear spoiler was made by David Langness. The rear bumper
is a smoothie made of fiber glass. The front bumper
is a Stillen with integrated foglamps. I have the lamps
wired to turn-on with both the low and hi-beams so
they never go out as long as one or the other factory
lamp is on. T84 headlamps are installed with clear
corner lamps. The grill is billet aluminum from California
Customs. The wheels are Neeper Aliens with custom spacers.
I
hope that answers any questions about the appearance
mods I have done. If you have any other questions please
feel free to email me. Thanks for your interest in
my vehicle. |
