Corvette Z06 muffler mod |
|
Per our customers request we went into the mufflers and
capped the perforated larger tubes to basically create a
straight pipe and we perforated the smaller tubes to quiet
the exhaust even more with the valves closed. The pictures
below from left to right are from start to finish. The
passenger muffler would not come out of the car without
removing a significant amount of the car. So we dropped it
down and did the mod under the car. Total time invested was
5 hours. The customer reported a louder, but pleasant tone
with the valves open and a small reduction in drone with the
valves closed.
